The 2017 Annual Catholic Appeal campaign is underway! We are seeking everyone’s participation so that we reach our goal of $291,582 as quickly as possible!
If you gave last year, please consider increasing your gift by 5% this year. If you did not give last year, would you consider a gift of a dollar a day ($365)? Gifts of any amount are welcome, and your gift will make a big impact on many lives!
Can your gift be doubled? Many companies MATCH gifts to the Annual Catholic Appeal! Check if your employer has a Matching Gift program and help your parish maximize their Annual Catholic Appeal Rebate! Once your payment has been received OR pledge has been paid in full, you can apply for the match per your employer’s instructions. (tax ID# 91-0778147)
All gifts have until April 2018 to be fulfilled. Thank you for your support and participation!

Hearts and Hammers 2017
is looking for Home Projects!
Sign-ups for Hearts & Hammers (May 6th this year) will be after each Masses the weekend of March 18-19.
We are looking for home projects. If you or someone you know could benefit from Hearts & Hammers, please contact us. Our standards are simple:
1. The homeowner must be low-income, elderly, disabled, or unable physically or financially to do the work alone.
2. The work to be done must be within the scope of a one-day volunteer effort.
3. The homeowner must agree to accept the work done by the crew in advance.
Hearts & Hammers has been an annual event here at St. Louise for the past 14 years now and is one of the largest single community service events we do with our Covenant partners. Please contact Gary Makowski at 425-641-8303 or Jackie Rial at 425-649-8643 or send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to request work or need further information.
Archdiocesan Planning Study Over the last several years it has become apparent that the archdiocesan priest pension and post-retirement medical plans are seriously underfunded. Similarly, our women religious must rely on dwindling resources within their own communities to meet their retirement needs.
Archbishop Sartain has decided to explore the possibility of a major campaign to address the retirement needs we face today and are projected to face in the future, as well as local parish needs. This planning study is an assessment to gauge support for a major campaign to address some or all of our identified priorities.
Flowing from our new Mission Statement: Ignite Faith and Witness God's Love, and as a part of our eight-point Strategic Plan, our parish staff and the councils and commissions are working to implement a new structure for the staff and the councils and commissions. Some of the changes are immediate and others will be implemented over time. You will find the changes detailed in two documents that you can read from our website, “Parish Leadership" and "The Way Ahead.” You can also read Fr. Gary's State of the Parish homily here that he shared the weekend of January 21 & 22, 2017.
