The 2018 Annual Catholic Appeal is underway! Fr. Gary’s letter is arriving in homes now. We are seeking everyone’s participation this year so that we reach our goal of $291,545 as quickly as possible.

If you gave last year, please consider increasing your gift by 5% this year. If you did not give last year, would you consider a gift of a dollar a day ($365)? Gifts of any amount are welcome, and your gift will make a big impact on many lives!

All gifts have until April 2019 to be fulfilled. Thank you for your support and participation!

CHRIST RENEWS HIS PARISH

You Are Cordially Invited to...

• Find Clarity and Purpose.
• Form Meaningful Relationships.
• Get a Fresh Perspective!

These are incredible experiences that you can encounter at a Welcome (formerly known as Christ Renews His Parish or CRHP) Weekend Retreat.  We’re all busy and we can all come up with plenty of excuses, but remember that one “YES” can change your life in wonderful ways.
We hope to see you there!

New Direction for Parish - From Maintanence to Mission

Leadership and "The Way ahead" documents

Flowing from our new Mission Statement: Ignite Faith and Witness God's Love, and as a part of our eight-point Strategic Plan, our parish staff and the councils and commissions are working to implement a new structure for the staff and the councils and commissions. Some of the changes are immediate, and others will be implemented over time. You will find the changes detailed in two documents that you can read on our website, Parish Leadership" and "The Way Ahead.” You can also read Fr. Gary's State of the Parish homily here that he shared the weekend of January 21 & 22, 2017.

Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help
Saturday mornings beginning May 5, everyone is invited to join in celebrating a novena to the Virgin Mary under her title, "Our Lady of Perpetual Help," at 10AM for nine Saturdays, beginning May 5.

"Our Lady of Perpetual Help" is the name given to Mary as depicted in a famous, centuries-old icon in the Byzantine style. The icon and the devotion to Mary it inspires is in the special charge of the Redemptorist order of priests. You can see a picture of the icon and read about its history, miracles and symbolism at their website at http://www.iconoflove.org/.

Although anyone can make a private novena at any time, the Church teaches that there is added efficacy in the union of the faithful at prayer. Holding this public novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help is a St. Louise tradition, sponsored by the Fil-Am community.
