St. Louise is looking for parishioners and school parents to “adopt” an outdoor area on our parish grounds and help keep that area looking good through all four seasons.
An individual, a couple, or a family can sign - up for a small, specific area on the St. Louise Parish grounds and keep this “adopted” area spruced-up on a regular basis. You would be responsible for any weeding, trimming, or simple planting in your garden area. The expectation is you would work at least once a month so your area stays weed-free and leaf-free as much as possible.
You pick the time that is most convenient to give this service, perhaps on a Saturday morning or after Mass on a Sunday. What fun! And what a great way to be a good steward of what we have at St. Louise, while also earning school volunteer hours.
If you are interested in signing up to adopt a garden area on the grounds, please email the coordinator. Let Jonathan Taasan ([email protected]) know if you have a particular area you’d like to make yours, or he can assign you an area no one has adopted yet. Thanks to the St. Louise families who have already adopted a garden.
