Adopt a Garden

St. Louise is looking for parishioners and school parents to “adopt” an outdoor area on our parish grounds and help keep that area looking good through all four seasons.

An individual, a couple, or a family can sign - up for a small, specific area on the St. Louise Parish grounds and keep this “adopted” area spruced-up on a regular basis. You would be responsible for any weeding, trimming, or simple planting in your garden area. The expectation is you would work at least once a month so your area stays weed-free and leaf-free as much as possible.

You pick the time that is most convenient to give this service, perhaps on a Saturday morning or after Mass on a Sunday. What fun! And what a great way to be a good steward of what we have at St. Louise, while also earning school volunteer hours.

If you are interested in signing up to adopt a garden area on the grounds, please email the coordinator. Let Jonathan Taasan ([email protected]) know if you have a particular area you’d like to make yours, or he can assign you an area no one has adopted yet.
