August 19, 2019Catholic Community Services came to us with the opportunity to serve the poor in yet another way, they asked St. Louise to host the Eastside Family Shelter from August 17 to October 1, 2019.
The Eastside Family Shelter is a low barrier, which means no background checks done on the families. CCS have two dedicated staff members that manages the shelter that will be on site each night. Learn more about the family shelter here.

If you are an adult with minor children, seeking shelter, you must call 206-437-7448 to complete phone screening for the overnight family shelter. If they are not immediately available, you could try the New Bethlehem daycenter for families at 425-679-0350.
