Youth Trekker Food Drive
Help support our Youth Trekker Drive Thru FOOD DRIVE on Saturday, July 18 from 10 AM to 1 PM at St. Louise parking lot by the Parish Center. Food donations will go to St. Vincent de Paul and HopeLink. Diaper & COVID supply donations will go to Agape Service. See details here.

Saturdays at 5 PM in English (Live Streamed) and at 7 PM in Spanish
Sundays at 9 AM in English and at 1 PM in Spanish (Live Streamed)

When planning to attend a Mass, please remember:

Temporary Closure of the Church for Private Prayer
Because of low attendance during the times when the Church was open, very limited number of volunteers signing up to help and the unfortunate rise in number of COVID-19 cases, we are temporarily not going to have the Church open for private prayer. Stay tuned as we update the schedule.

Free food distribution event in partnership with Catholic Community Services
On July 11th St. Louise will partner with Catholic Community Services and a grant from the USDA to feed people from farms that produced surplus foods for restaurants prior to COVID. Food boxes will be brought on a truck to distribute in the St. Louise parking lot between 11 and 1. It will be first come, first serve until we run out. If you or someone you know needs help with food please bring an empty car trunk and wear a mask and we will load your car. More information can be found here.
New Bethlehem Family Shelter is Opening!
New Bethlehem Family shelter will be opening in late August. Thank you to everyone at St. Louise who helped to make this possible. NBP is looking for some help to make the new shelter feel like a home. You can find opportunities to help here.

Evento gratuito de distribución de alimentos en asociación con Servicios Comunitarios Católicos
El 11 de julio, Santa Luisa se asociará con Catholic Community Services y USDA para proveer alimentos que se produjeron en granjas antes de COVID para los restaurantes. Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Juneteenth
Friday, June 19th we celebrate the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is also the Juneteenth, the anniversary of the last slaves freed in the state of Texas. We will have two outdoor Masses on Friday, June 19th; 9AM and 7PM in English. Registrations for these Masses will be available here beginning Monday morning.

New Church Hours for Private Prayer
We are pleased to announce the new Church schedule for individual prayer, beginning Thursday, June 11, 2020. While our desire is to open the Church full time, we must limit our hours due to restrictions associated with the COVID-19 crisis. These restrictions require that we only open the Church for individual prayer and no other activities at this time. The Church Open schedule is as follows:

St. Louise parish will pray the Stations of the Cross to ask God to heal us from the sin of racism on June 10 at 6 PM on our parish YouTube channel and on Instagram Live through our youth ministry account. Please join us for a retreat on the theme of Pentecost on the Feast of Pentecost, Sunday, May 31 from 10-11:30 AM. We will continue to reflect on the question from the previous week of searching for the work of the Spirit during these times. Ron Ryan has worked for the Archdiocese of Seattle for many years in many capacities. Since the fall of 2020 he has served as Special Project Coordinator for the Archdiocese. He has served in full-time ministry for 40 years and has a doctorate in pastoral ministry. As a teacher, speaker, and spiritual director, Ron has a special interest in helping lay people make meaningful connections between their faith and their lives in the secular world. New Church Schedule for Private Prayer
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 4:00 - 7:00 PM and on Sundays 1:00 - 4:00 PM the Church will be open for private prayer. During this time, a staff member will be reminding folks that come to pray to sanitize their hands upong arriving and leaving the church and practicing safe social distancing. We want to remind everyone to avoid coming if you are sick, if you are 65 or older and or if you have an underlying medical condition. Areas where people sit or kneel will be sanitized. We ask that folks coming to pray wears a mask. Thank you.

1. St. Vincent de Paul has seen a large increase in the request for rental assistance while food requests have remained relatively the same. Please click on this link to help support our neighbors struggling to make ends meet. You can also drop off non-perishable food, laundry soap, dish soap and toilet paper to the parish office between 10-11:30 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Those who are not among the medically vulnerable can also sign up to help hand off and receive groceries on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in the parish office from 10-11:30 AM. Sign up here to volunteer.
2. Catholic Community Services is doing heroic work to serve vulnerable populations in our neighborhoods including homeless individuals and families. Please click on this link to donate. They are also looking for masks. Please email Erin Maguire at erinma@ccsww.org for more information on how to donate masks.
3. Jubilee Reach has asked for help providing groceries to vulnerable families in our Crossroads neighborhood on Wednesdays for the next several weeks. Find information and a link to sign up here.
